Dylan's Christmas Cracker

Eight-year-old Dylan Parchment will have his artwork seen by hundreds of people across the country after winning a Christmas competition.
The year 3/4 pupil at St Thomas More Catholic First School Redditch drew a festive scene which has been chosen to be the Christmas card for McInerney Homes West Midlands.
Around 100 different designs were looked at before Dylan’s was chosen.
John Heald, sales manager of McInerney Homes, said the entries had been so good that they will now be displayed at the sales centre at Hedgerows over the holiday period.
“We were delighted to link up with Sir Thomas More School and thought this was a great way to announce our arrival in Redditch and to get the local community involved.
“The standard of the drawings – and there were nearly 100 of them – was excellent and we have invited all the parents to come and see them over the holiday period.
Dylan, who lives on Greenlands and whose two elder sisters Natalie and Jordan also went to the school, now has to decide what to spend his prize of shopping vouchers on.
“I don’t know what I want for Christmas. I didn’t think I would win but I am very pleased.”
McInerney Homes is creating 89 new properties, including a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and three, four and five-bedroom houses. For more information contact the sales centre on 01527 529323
