A newlywed couple have found their perfect home at the Hope development Holes Lane, in Knottingley, thanks to McInerney Homes. Mr and Mrs Oldfield, who previously lived in Castleford, Leeds, had been house hunting for four months when they came across the Staveley house style by McInerney Homes. Michael and Penny Oldfield, who recently got married, are due to move into their first marital home just in time for Christmas. They bought their property through the part exchange scheme, which offers home buyers a faster route up the property ladder by incorporating the value of their previous home in the sale. Michael, 32, said: "The part exchange scheme made moving house quick and easy, we imagined the move to be complicated and stressful due to the current credit crunch but McInerney did everything they could to ensure the process went smoothly. When I first looked around Staveley design I loved the luxury fitted kitchen and the juliet balcony. "Our dog Battenburg is a Doberman, I am sure she will settle in nicely, the garden is perfect for her as she loves playing and running around." Penny, 22 said: "This is our first marital home and it is perfect for us. My favourite features of the house are the extras that McInerney provided, we had a choice of tiles, flooring and marbled surfaces. We have just upgraded and ordered an integrated dishwasher, nobody likes washing up and now there will be no arguments over who is doing the dishes! "We received quite a few vouchers as wedding gifts so we will be using them to furnish our brand new house, it’s very exciting!" Hope sits on the edge of beautiful countryside and is only a short drive away from some areas of outstanding natural beauty. In just over one hour's drive you can be in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the country such as the Yorkshire Dales and the east coast. From wedding bells to door bells,
